Studio Edwards took inspiration from classic A-frame cabins and airstream trailers for its take on the micro-home typology. Optimising connection to the cabin’s chosen landscape was paramount, so it was clad in black rubber with natural materials making up the interior. What’s more, Base Cabin uses battery-powered electricity and has a composting toilet. To minimise its impact on sites, no footings are required. Fancy a ‘little’ holiday, anyone?
